About Me

My name is Alexus, I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Science . A personal experience led me on my journey to become a paralegal. While this is not my final stop, it is a step that I must take to become an attorney in the way that I found is necessary. 

I want to help others avoid going through what I went through although what I went through led me to become who I am today. It broke me, shaped me, remolded me and rebuilt me into something that cannot be stopped. They ignited a fire in me that cannot and will not be put out.

I knew about CPS, and I heard about them, but I had no involvements with them, I just knew they took kids. From my perception and the things, I had experience and witnessed, I had the assumption and thought that if CPS removed your children, you deserved it or had it coming. I thought these things until it happened to me. I learned a very valuable lesson in all of this. It can always be you and to be careful with what you say, also never to judge and be humble.
