of her leg splints and wraps
It was all so confusing because we are all looking at My'Riah who isn't really showing signs of pain. She was literally lifting her legs up and smashing them down on the bed.
We are looking at this laughing, smiling baby who is supposed to have four different fractures in various stages of healing and a healing right distal tibial and distal fibular metaphyseal fracture.

Day 3 rolled around and there were still no answers for what happened to My'Riah. We provided them answers-- it just wasn't what they were looking for..
The hospital social worker presented it as if we had no other family members who could take My'Riah which was false.
They presented My'Riah as a four (4) month old infant with four (4) rib fractures and a broken fibula/tibia fracture in various stages of healing with multiple scratches and bruises.
My'Riah did have a bruise, that was an accident, she was pinched with the bumbo seat belt being secured into the seat. Other than that My'Riah had scratched her own eyelid and the inside ear lobe.
UK Hospital had been aware since December 2, 2015 that the other 5th right rib the other fractures did not exist.
We had came to UK hospital after we had been in a car accident October 21, 2015 and the hospital did not x-ray My'Riah nor did they do their duty to evaluate a four (4) month old who had been in the car accident with the others being injured and the car being totaled.
The car accident was 4-6 weeks prior to this hospital visit. The 5th rib fracture was 4-6 weeks old. In future sight, the University of Kentucky eventually covered their tracks by saying they investigated her and said she was fine, yet there are no hospital records of her being there although she was transported via ambulance to the University of Kentucky.
This hospital stay was 4 day, the social workers weren't able to locate a foster family for her to go to so we waited at the hospital until they found a foster home in Nicholasville.
They still took her knowing the other fractures did not exist.
Before I knew it my daughter was splinted and wrapped up and we were not allowed to leave the hospital with her.
We were being investigated by detectives, constantly being questioned by social workers and medical personnel.
We all wanted to know one thing...
what happened to My'Riah?
We left the hospital without My'Riah hoping it would all be worked out by the first court date.
We left the hospital Friday, December 4, 2015 and it was the weekend so the courts were closed.

Next visit we had with My'Riah she didn't have any leg splints, her legs weren't bandaged and her legs were free. My'Riahs father asked Bambie Baldridge, the social worker, why My'Riah was wrapped, splinted at the hospital days prior and is now bouncing and standing on his lap and was told to focus on the visit and not to worry about it.
University of Kentucky findings on 12/17/2015
A healing right distal tibial and distal fibular metaphyseal fracture. Also, a subtle, but persistent sclerosis within the right posterolateral fifth rib consistent with a healing fracture. NO acute fractures identified.
